VISION To be a legislative entity/institution that ensures efficient and effective Traditional Leadership and quality service delivery fir the benefit of Traditional communities. MISSION To represent the aspirations of traditional communities by promoting co-operative governance CORE MANDATE The core mandate of the Mpumalanga Provincial House of Traditional Leaders is contained in Chapter 12 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996. Further, the Mpumalanga Provincial House of Traditional Leaders draws its mandate from policy implementation by the National House of Traditional Leaders and policy pronouncements by National Government and from legislation, inter alia: The Traditional Leadership and Governance Framework Act No.41 Mpumalanga Traditional Leadership and Governance Act, 2005 (Act No.3 of 2005) Mpumalanga Provincial House and Local Houses of Traditional Leaders Act, 2005 (Act No. 6 of 2005).
